Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

RaptorVortex is operated by Marian Ioan Pintilie, trading as DaemOn Network. This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use RaptorVortex, why we collect it, who else sees it, and the choices you have. We don't sell your personal data to third parties.

2. What we collect

Account information (email, date of birth for age verification), listening activity needed to run the credit system, and — for Creator accounts — information used to verify you're really the owner of the channel or profile you're claiming: your claimed YouTube/Spotify links, the underlying channel/artist IDs those links resolve to, country and city, a linked social media profile (Facebook or Instagram), and the outcome of that ownership check. Standard technical data (like IP address and device/browser information) is also logged automatically by our hosting infrastructure, as it is by virtually any website.

3. How we use it

We use this data to run your account, operate the credit and listening system, verify Creator identity claims, prevent impersonation and fraud, process VIP payments, and send account-related emails (like sign-in codes). We don't use your data for advertising, and we don't use third-party advertising or analytics trackers.

4. Who else sees it

We use Supabase (database and authentication), Netlify (hosting and server-side functions), Resend (sending sign-in codes and account-related emails), and Stripe (payment processing for VIP subscriptions — RaptorVortex never sees or stores your card details) to run RaptorVortex. To confirm a Creator's ownership claim, we read publicly available data from YouTube's and Spotify's own APIs — a channel's public description, and a track's public title/artist information. This doesn't involve you signing in to or connecting your Google or Spotify account to RaptorVortex, and we're never granted any access to either account.

5. How channel and artist ownership is verified

To verify a YouTube channel, we generate a random code and ask you to place it in that channel's public description — since only the real channel owner can edit it, finding the code there when we read the channel's public data back is proof of ownership. No sign-in, consent screen, or account connection of any kind is involved. To corroborate a linked Spotify artist profile, we compare the public titles of tracks you say are on both platforms, and confirm multiple tracks resolve to the same Spotify artist ID — this is corroboration, not the same strength of proof as the YouTube check, since Spotify has no equivalent editable field we can use to confirm direct control.

6. What we keep after deletion

Most of your data is deleted when you delete your account. We retain a limited set of records — verification submissions (claimed channel/profile links, social link, country/city, and the outcome of any review), moderation and ban history, and records of any confirmed impersonation or fraud attempt — for as long as reasonably necessary for the establishment, exercise, or defence of legal claims, and to prevent the same bad-faith account from simply signing up again. This isn't blanket indefinite storage of everything you did on the platform; it's specifically the records that let us show what was submitted, by whom, and when, if a dispute (e.g. an identity or ownership claim) is ever raised after the fact.

7. Your choices

You can delete your account at any time from your Profile. You can remove a verified channel or artist link at any time from your Profile, or simply decline to submit one in the first place — this only affects your ability to verify a Creator claim, not your ability to use RaptorVortex as a listener. To ask questions about your data or request its removal beyond what's retained under section 6, contact us using the details in section 9.

8. Age

RaptorVortex is for users 13 and older. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 13. VIP subscriptions and contest entry require you to be 18 or older.

10. Changes to this policy
