1. What RaptorVortex is

RaptorVortex is a music discovery platform for independent artists and listeners. Posts appear in strict chronological order — no algorithm, no paid ranking boost. Access to post is earned through genuine listening activity, not purchased.

2. Accounts

You must be 13 or older to use RaptorVortex. VIP subscriptions and contest entry require you to be 18 or older. You're responsible for keeping your account secure and for all activity under it. Creator accounts must represent music the account holder genuinely owns or has the right to distribute — we check submitted release links against registered channels/profiles, and knowingly submitting someone else's work as your own is a violation of these terms. The same link can only be added to your catalogue once; adding the same link again, or submitting a Spotify release under an artist identity that doesn't match one you've verified, will be rejected or flagged for review.

3. Content you post

You keep ownership of your music. By posting, you grant RaptorVortex a license to display it within the app (embeds/links to the platform you originally released on — YouTube, Spotify) for as long as the post remains active. We don't host or rehost your audio files ourselves.

4. Copyright complaints

If you believe content posted on RaptorVortex infringes your copyright, contact us at the email in section 14 with: the work you believe is infringed, the specific post/link involved, and a statement that you're the rights holder (or authorized to act for them). We'll investigate and remove content found to be infringing. Since we link to YouTube/Spotify rather than hosting audio ourselves, most copyright matters are also independently handled by those platforms' own systems.

5. The credit system

Credits are earned through verified listening activity and spent to post. Credits have no cash value, aren't redeemable for money, and aren't transferable between accounts. We reserve the right to adjust the credit economy (thresholds, costs) as the platform evolves.

6. No guarantee of results

RaptorVortex doesn't promise streams, followers, chart placement, or any specific outcome from using the platform. Discovery depends on genuine listener interest, not anything we control on your behalf.

7. Prohibited conduct

No spam, scams, non-music content, harassment, or attempts to manipulate the credit/listen system (bots, fake accounts, coordinated fraudulent listening). Violations may result in content removal, account cooldown, or permanent suspension, at our discretion, with or without notice depending on severity.

8. VIP / paid features

VIP subscriptions and contest entry are restricted to users 18 and older. Payments are processed by Stripe — RaptorVortex never sees or stores your card details directly. Some features (contest entry, promoted placements) require a VIP subscription or one-time payment. Subscriptions can be cancelled at any time through your account; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period unless stated otherwise. Payments are non-refundable except where required by law.

9. Account deletion

You can permanently delete your account at any time from your Profile. Deletion removes your posts, catalogue, follows, and public-facing account data, and this action cannot be undone once confirmed. Some records are kept even after deletion — see "What we keep after deletion" in section 12 below.

10. Limitation of liability

RaptorVortex is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't guarantee the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times. To the fullest extent permitted by law, RaptorVortex and its operator aren't liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform — including lost streams, lost revenue, or lost data. Nothing in these terms limits liability for anything that can't legally be limited (such as death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud).

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom. Any disputes will be handled under UK jurisdiction, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections that apply in your own country of residence.

How we collect, use, and protect your personal data is covered in full in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the platform changes. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
